How a bidder can get outbid? As a bidder, you can get outbid only if an earlier bidder entered a maximum bid greater than the amount you specified. On Buy n Sell (India).com when a bidder confirms a bid, the earlier bidder's "proxy bid" immediately places a bid on their behalf and if your entered bid amount is lower than their maximum bid amount, you get outbid to ensure the earlier bidder’s position as high bidder. On the other side, if you place a bid which is more than earlier bidders maximum bid amount, the earlier bidder will get outbid and you will be the current highest bidder and your proxy will protect your position as a highest bidder same way.
